- All day long the Sigma Chi brothers will be wearing a white T-Shirt with our letters written on them.  Anytime you see someone, sign his shirt.  Try to sign as many shirts as possible by putting your name and letters on their shirt.  Go in groups of girls or by yourself, nonetheless, try to get as many signatures on as many shirts as possible.  The shirts will be collected as 8:00 pm and the names will be tallied up.  The more signatures you have on the shirts, the more points you get.

- New this year, we have brought in comedian Drew Michael to perform at Drake!  Drew is a headliner at the Red Comedy Club in downtown Chicago.  Get a group of people together and check him out!  Tickets are $5 and remember, ANYBODY can buy a ticket and designate the points to go towards any sorority!  The sorority with the largest attendance at the comedian will have a significant advantage to winning Derby Days this year.  The performance will last roughly 45 minutes.

- Street Painting

- On the west walkway to Sigma Chi, there will be five spots painted white.  It is the sorority's job to create a design incorporating their holiday and the "Derby Holidays" theme and paint the square.  It would be a good idea to have the coaches' help and some paint will be provided but if you have something special, bringing your own paint would be recommended.  The squares will be judged after every house finishes and will be judged on creativity, artwork, and use of theme/holiday.  There will also be a sign-in so bring as many girls as you can to sit around, talk, and paint.

- Sigma Chi "Fashion Show"

- 7:30 pm at Sigma Chi

- All the Derby Days Coaches will arrive at their respective sorority for an old-fashioned makeover.  Dress him up, make him look good, and have him back to the Sigma Chi House.  The fashion show will be on the front lawn/front porch with the newly attractive men.  Judges will judge each coach on dress, make-up, runway walk, and possibly a  few "Miss America" questions.  Points are awarded for the winning coaches and attendance at the event.

- Come on over to The Dublin.  Drink specials will be available for those of age and it'll be a party for all.  The award ceremony will begin at 4:30 pm where the winning sorority of Derby Days will be announced.

Each day, one sorority will make dinner for the men of Sigma Chi for donations to the Huntsman Cancer Foundation.  Every brother who attends will donate $5, half of that will go to HCF and the other half will go back to the sorority to help offset any costs that may incur.  The dinners will be served at the time designated on the schedule of events in the basement of the Sigma Chi House.  All coaches will be instructed to help set up, decorate, and prepare the dinner with anyone helping.  Sororities will be judged in two categories: best use of theme and best tasting.  All brothers eating, with the exception of the coaches, will give these meals a score, which will be averaged out to determine how may points are awarded.  Get your girls to help out because you get more points for more girls.

At the tables in Helmick Commons, Olmsted Breezeway, or Hubble Dining Hall, there will be five jars (one marked for each sorority).  Members of each sorority will put money in the jars.  Pennies are positive contributions to the jar, but all other cash and coin denominations are negative.  Therefore, you only want pennies in your jar.  At the end of Wednesday, these jars will be emptied out and tallied.  Therefore, you will not know any of the sororities amounts that they had the first two days.  They will be brought back Thursday and will end at Derby Draws.

Long sleeve T-shirts will be sold throughout the week at the same tables where penny wars are taking place.  They will cost $15 per shirt.  Anyone is allowed to buy a shirt and designate their points to go to any sorority with the exception of members of Sigma Chi.  Points will be awarded per shirt sold.
