At Sigma Chi, we continually strive for three aims; friendship, justice, and learning. They are the pillars in which our fraternity was founded upon and we practice living them every day. The Sigma Chi Fraternity is one of the oldest, with a founding back in June of 1855. Here at Drake University, we are entering our 31st year of success as a chapter.
At Drake, we are one of the elite fraternities on this campus. We finished the Spring 2011 semester with a cumulative house average G.P.A. of 3.32. We strive to always be active in the community and participate in multiple philanthropic events throughout the year. During the Fall semester, we also host a week-long, campus-wide philanthropy called Derby Days, which benefits the Hunstman Cancer Institute. The Theta Gamma Chapter was able to raise over $3,200 last year to donate. Our involvement in intramurals is consistent and we compete in every sport. Apart from academics, philanthropy, and entertainment, we have an extremely large alumni network. This provides us with opportunities for internships, mentorships, and whatever else we may need assistance with.
Overall, the brothers here at the Theta Gamma Chapter are those individuals who will succeed in all of their endeavors. The dedication we have for our personal and professional development is incomparable, and our brotherhood is strong and inspiring. This is our website - browse around and check us out.
